The Singer 7258 stylist computerized sewing machine is my favorite sewing machine, and apparently, others think so too. This machine has twice won the Consumers Digest Award and has received Best Buy merit special attention from consumers.
The Singer 7258 Stylist allows me the freedom to create whatever I can imagine.
It won these awards based on performance, ease-of-use, quality of construction, features, warranty, efficiency, maintenance and service requirements, and style. On all of these points, I cannot disagree that this is an excellent machine all around.
This machine has several features that take it above and beyond what one would expect, even from a quality name like Singer.

This machine is on the high-end of the machines built for the beginner sewer. It has several features that put it into the next category such as the ability to do high-speed sewing, and double needle capability.
It has a few more stitches than the lower end machine but is not over-the-top with too many choices and features that would hardly ever get used.
